Here is a pdf of snowflake patterns: after printing one out, fold along the marked lines so that the gray pattern remains visible. Cut away paper in the folded layers so that only this gray pattern remains. Unfold and smooth the result, and presto!

Next cut out the printed pattern and unfold the result. For a professional-looking cut paper snowflake, you can smooth out the creases by bending all the folds back the other way. Tadah!
